World Falconry Day

On Saturday, November the 19th, the NCFG with Allison Woods Outdoor Learning Center will celebrate World Falconry Day.

This is an educational, public event held in Statesville.

We will set up a weathering yard to display birds, and an information table. In years past it was set up in a large field with plenty of room. I believe it will be set up the same way this year.

I am inviting all guild members to come out and participate.

If you do have a bird, please consider tethering your bird in the weathering yard with a perch and bath pan to display them to the public. We will have plenty of redtails, and harris hawks. Consider bringing a goshawk or falcon if you have one.

If you are an apprentice, or newly pursuing your falconry journey, consider coming out, meeting new folks and helping out. We would love to get to know new members better!

Please RSVP with this link by November 11th. Folks that are attending will receive another email with more information a week before the event.
